Epson U220B Printer Issue w/ Aloha

I am using Aloha TS 5.3.28 with Epson U220B Ethernet kitchen printers. The printers use OPOS drivers.

I am having an issue where the printers will just stop printing. Aloha will not post a message stating that the printer is not functioning, nor does Aloha reroute the print job. It appears that the print job is just getting lost. If I reboot the terminal that owns the printer, the printer will beging functioning again (it does not reprint all the lost print jobs, however).

I am looking for a solution to prevent this from even happening. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Make sure your dip switches are set like this:

DSW1 should have following turned on: 3,5,6 all others shut off.

DSW2 all should be shut off unless it is auto cut if that is the case the 2 would be the only one turned on.

I will check the settings on those Dip Switches, and post any results.

Thank you.
