Epson tm t88ii Printer

Hi,
I have a Epson tm t88ii Printer that was working on a win 98 computer no problems there untill that computer went down, So I upgraded to win XP pro, now the printer will not work,it's a Serial interface connect to com1, I am using the same cable as before, the same setting as before, I used the driver from Epson and a generic driver but cant get it to work what is the difference from win 98 to win XP???

Not much. Are you using OPOS drivers from Epson? If not go to the properties of the serial port and make sure they are the same as the software you are using as far as baud rate, stop bits, etc.
