Epson Stylus printers only 2 lines 1

Hi Forum,
Can someone please help me? I have a Epson Stylus 440 printer and I'm running Windows Me. The problem is the printer only prints out maybe the first two lines of whatever I'm trying to print. Please help me.
Mother of three who desperatly needs to print school paper. Thank you

Ok, there are a couple things you can try:

1: Older Ink Jet Printer Driver Support
To ensure correct operation of older printer drivers (i.e. Stylus Color 400/600/800) with Windows Me be sure to set "Use Print Manager for this port" in the Epson Spool Manager to ON.

2: Reinstall the printer drivers. Check out their site at

It looks like you'll have to use the 98/95 drivers there. ~Apex1x

I tried what you said about using the spool manager and all of a sudden the printer started printing. I thank you so much!!! I Thank you very, very much, now the kids can print their school work. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
