Epson Inkjet Printer - Status Error problem

I have a Epson 680 inkjet and it comes with the Status Monitor 3 feature showing the amount of ink left etc.

The Monitor seems to have got out-of-sync with the actual inkjets as it is saying they are still full when they are not!

Short of removing the printer and drivers from the machine and reloading them is there another way round this?

As far as I know the Epson printers read ink data from the cartridge.therefore even re-installing the printer will not help.this problem usually occures with re-charged cartridges.
Don't worry about it ,if you atr really concerned,change the cartrdge.
