epson 880 rom reset

I have just found out the reason why my 880 just stopped working and displayed flashing lights on the panel. It is because there is a counter on the cleaning cycles so the catch tank does not overfill. It is no problem to empyt/clean the absorbant pad in the tank but I have found it not so easy to get hold of the program to reflash the rom . I found a site in the states that sells the progs and one or two sites that had them for free download but not for my model.
Has anybody any info on the progs or maybe like me just bought a new printer after I thought it was dead only to find out this is a standard service fault.

It saved me buying another printer so was well worth while! I was stuck with Epson's 'Unknown Error' with all lights flashing. Thanks to your manual I was able to get the printer into a state where I could run a utility program to reset the cleaning counter. Now everythings fine.
