I have asked a printer to send me the company logos for a web site I am doing. They sent them as EPS files. How do I work with these? I have opened it up in Fireworks but it is really pixelated. Should I just be asking them for jpeg files?

hope you can help
thanks, blackduck

They are certainlyonly pixelated, since they have been opened with the wrong resolution in Fireworks.

Normally you are asked for the resolution, when you open EPS.
Do you have Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator at your disposal?
Try opening with 300 dpi resolution.

Once you have JPGs, it is hard to resize the logo without quality loss. So, EPS files as originals is not so bad a solution. You can always save a copy as JPEG from them...
