Has anyone else noticed that Big *.EPS files slow down Windows Explorer(XP home sp2) to a crawl?
No, I'm not using the thumbnail view either. I don't have any problems with PSD files of the same size.
I spent Half an hour trying to drag some EPS files from the file browser in Nero to burn them, and when it did burn, Windows took even longer to view the CD contents.
Anyone know what's up?

Moe: It could have been a real ugly situation, but luckily I managed to shoot him in the spine.

Hmmm. I don't know how that can be true although I'm certain it happened.

It's just that one would think file type would absolutely not make any difference, and if it does I will truly be supprised.

Have you tested other possibilities like system performance while moving files, viruses, temp files etc.?

It's definately the eps files. 200mb moving to dif PCs, on a Network and off.
