Hi,

I'm using Crystal Reports v8.5 and need to schedule my report through Enterprise to export as .csv

When I export to .csv the numbers are exporting within inverted commas as if they were a string.

Does anyone know whether the export can to .csv can be done properly (ie text within inverted commas and numbers as is)?

Thanks,

SP

What's an inverted comma?

Do you mean double quotes?

Rarther than using text to describe, try using technical terms and example data and expected output (what you want the export to look like rather than "not inverted quotes".

Yeah - I mean double quotes.

For example, the following is contained in the report:
abcbirkenhead 1023 1054 1032 3845

and I want it to export as .csv like the following:
"abcbirkenhead",1023,1054,1032,3845

what it's exporting at the moment is as follows:
"abcbirkenhead","1023","1054","1032","3845
