ePO Reports - Saving Filters

Has anyone successfully saved a filter for re-use with ePO v3.0 reporting? I have followed the help files to the letter and just get a blank stare back from ePO when I try running the report. (It actually presents me with a blank drop down box with no clue what it's looking for. Pretty close to a blank stare though...)
