I have a country with 11 sites, and one central epo-server. In each site I have a fileserver. What I'm trying now is to update each client from his local fileserver, as to reduce network traffic. So the central epo must create a mirror of its own on every fileserver and then tell the clients to get there update from the local fileserver in their site. How do I make this work? Any hints?

Hi

For this feature you will need to wait for ePO 3.0

HI,

you have to create an update-share in each site. On your central site you get the dat-files with an ftp-mirror task on one machine. Copy these datfiles in each site to the shared update-folders with a batch-task after the ftp-download. (you have to clear the update-shares before you copy the new dat-files..)

In ePO you create an update-task and in each group (site) you change the unc-path to the lokal update-share.
