Am running Viruscan Enterprise 8.0i plus Anti-Spyware. Also use EPO 3.6 We do not use Global Updates.

Am having difficulty getting Patch 13 to deploy using EPO. It seems that 8.0i must be completely re-installed for Patch 13 to take effect. Is that correct?

I can say for sure when it has the Anti-Spyware add-on, but with VSE8 by itself, I've been able to deploy Patch 13 successfully to most of the PCs that appear on the network.

Where you create Tasks for AutoUpdates, there is a Settings button which will take you into what updates you will allow it to perform. Just ensure that VirusScan Enterprise 8.0.0 is selected in the Patches and Service Packs section.

Once your PCs begin to perform the scheduled AutoUpdate, Patch 13 will be installed. Just ensure you have checked in Patch 13 in the ePO Repository first.

Also, since you mentioned you are using VSE8 with Anti-Spyware, I believe there is a different NAP file to check into ePO as well.
