I have recently taken over a new installation of EPO 3.6.1. Most of the clients were migrated to this server after the failure of an older EPO 3.5 server.
The clients are at a mixture of patch levels but mostly showing 1,4, and 5 are installed.
I decided to upgrade them to the latest patch 15 and noticed the progress was extremely slow despite having created deployment tasks.
About a third of the clients now report patch 15 but the rest are not updating.
On one of the failed clients I ran a manual update and noticed in the log that it believes the latest hotfix 15 is, however the ‘About’ still shows patches 1,4 and 5 as do all the entries in the registry.
If I clear the following key the and run and update manually, the patch installs successfully and reports back to EPO.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Network Associates\ePolicy Orchestrator\Application Plugins\VIRUSCAN8000\HotFixVersions
Can anyone suggest how best to fix the problem on the remaining 1500 machines?
Thanks
