Hi,

I am a newbie with ePo and on of our clients would like to see a daily report of non-compliant machines (ie DAT files and/or Engine out of date or no protection at all). I can create this report on the fly using the Reporting part of ePo but is it possible to schedule the creation of the 'Compliance Issues' report and have it delivered to a specified email address??

I have downloaded the whitepapers and been browsing through the console and this forum but cannot find any option to achieve this.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, the answer is no. Or at least, it's no using ePO reports. It's a problem that I have as well, I would love to be able to do it.
The only way that this could be done, is by writing a SQL query to pull the info out of the ePO database.
Depending on how well you can write code you could even get the figures you pull out of the db to be converted into a graph.
Sorry I can't be of more help, but I hope this will point in the right direction.

Pretty sure I've seen 3rd party products that extend ePO's reporting capabilities (direct to web page output etc.) but can't find one now :(

Too bad ePo can't do this by itself. I'd say scheduling a periodic compliance check is a pretty basic feature and should be included in this 'enterprise' tool.

We are trying to offshore some very basic daily maintenance tasks to India and we're trying to make it as easy as possibly for our Indian friends :)

I'll browse around a bit to look for some 3rd party solution.

Thanks!

funnily enough, that's exactly what I've been doing! Offshore it goes!
It is basic function, which I can't believe they haven't put into ePo already.
Perhaps it'll be in version 4 which I think is out at the end of the year
