ePO 3.0 Beta 1 with Samba Domain

Hi,
I installed ePO 3.0 Beta 1 on a W2k server. When I try to set the server service account I get an error message telling me
"unexpected system error"
Error API: LookupAccountNameW
Troubleshooting code:106

Obviously the account can't be validated.

Suggestions.

I'm using a domain administrater account. I could use a local account, but then I won't be able to push software.
