Hi Guys,

I am struggling with EPO as well, when I schedule an auto-update or auto upgrade, the task comes in the list on the client, but the scheduling itself does not enable on the clients, so it doesn't start updating.

It does not matter what option I choose ( run immediately, run once a day etc etc) the "enable scheduling" is not activated through the policy. I am running epo 2.5.1. I have also re-installed the newest nap file.

Could someone please tell me if I am doing something wrong ??

Thanks,

Ommer

Hi

To be able to see if your clients update you need to look in the agent log, since ePO dont update the VirusScan Console on the node.

Check for info like:

Scheduler: Task [task name]loaded successfully
Invoking Task [task name]
Executing Task [task name]

ePO uses .tsk files (task files) to tell the agent when to performe a task.

After a while the .tsk files update VirusScan Console with the settings in the .tsk file so you actually can spot the tasks on the node.

Antother thing to do is to run a report on the task you are interested in.

Cheers
AVDude
