We've had a recurring problem with an EPN at a customer location. EPN becomes unreachable with an 'FE' error shown when 'status health' command is issued. Have been able to restore service by busying out the fiber link and SNI at the PPN, but the customer is still down until that is done.
Troubleshooting so far:
1. Local and remote fiber loopbacks pass from PPN location.
2. Transceiver swapped out at customer location (then swapped back after problem recurred)
2. Expansion interface swapped out / restored at customer location (after problem recurred)
3. Maintenance board swapped out / restored at customer location (after problem recurred)
4. Switch Node Interface board swapped out at PPN.
Would appreciate any recommendations about where to go next...about the only thing left is the local tranceiver at the PPN, but the fiber loopback test show good...
