We have eBachOffice 7.2. We are running SQL 2000 with SP3.Suddenly , when users tried to login the main database it gives them error (the user is not a valid eBachOffice user)
Knowing that they were working properly before the week end.
In the Company database , or company we can't find any list which used to contain the control company names and the company corrospond to them.
Also we have a demo database and it is working. It is in the same SQL server
Any one have a suggestions for that.

hi,

look in control db for the following tables
smusers: This gives the list of users.
smprof: This is the user profil.

One thing to note. I dont think epicor have recommended apply SP3 for SQL server.

I remember I tried apply sp2 over my sever and it killed it!!.

I had to do a complete rebuilder of the server. So at present im still stuck on SP1 for sql.

I maybee wrong. I hope, but thats my exp with ebackoffice
