Epicor Data Access

I am using crystal reports 11 release 2 and have no idea how to connect to Epicor ERP system. What has been happening is I am using Epicor and I ask it to generate a General Ledger report that is a template that comes with the software. Then Crystal Reports opens up with a general ledger report and I format it the way I want it. Sometimes when I am formatting it wants to refresh the connection, and then I'm done because I have no idea what the connection is. The box that pops up says that it wants an ADO.NET(XML) connection, but I have no idea what to do.

If anyone has any information of tips I would really appreciate it

Are you in Crystal Reports Designer when you are doing this or in Epicor?

If you are trying to connect through Crystal you need to get the XML from the server where Epicor is and copy it to your desktop in order to use it with Crystal. Then you need to update your datasource in Crystal with the XML.
