Epicor 7.3 Consolidation info needed!!!!

We are considering using epicor/FRx to do our consolidated financial reporting rather than the current Excel model we use.The corporate structure is pretty complex and there are a lot of eliminating and changing entries.

Does anyone outthere currently use this feature and if so how does it work?

Is it possible to do a single step consilidation and produce financials for companies at different levels of the heirarchy or does it have to be done in multiple databases.

We have just started lookink into this so and and all help and suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.

We have been using Epicor 7.2 with FRX for the last few years. although i am not directly involved with unsing FRX, our finance people have found it a very useful tool for extraction and drilling into the GL.

Im quite surprised you dont already have it as part of your epicor suite.
