We've seen environmental sensors attached to gateways in the past, as well as the ups being connected to the gateway using either lan port 1 or 2, and thereby relaying information across the network so that it can be monitored remotely. How is this configured in the gateway? We're rolling out a ups upgrade system wide and was wanting the ups, via it's nic, to plug into a lan port on the gateway itself, and thereby be monitored. Any suggestions?
