Hi Guys,

I'm new working with Visual Studio .Net (2005 is what I have Know) and I know that working with Data we can Use Connected or Disconnected Environments...

What I would like to know is how do you decide which one to use? I know that one is quicker than the other... But how can I know which one to use? depending also from the size of records I need to work?

Thanks for any suggestion, tips or recommendations!

I don't know of a way to work with connected data unless you reference the old Active X ADO objects. That usually occurs when a developer new to .Net is migrating from VB6. Best practice would be to utilize ADO.Net which is working with disconnected data.
