Hi,

I don't really under stand my problem but someone said to me that I have to hardcode my envelope header because it is set wrong. Does this make any sense to anyone? If it does could you tell me what it means and how I could implement it.

Thanks!

The problem appears to be the following 2 lines.

Return-Path: <Received: (from
Does anyone know how I can change these 2 lines so they will display a legitimate email address.

When I execute sendmail from the command line it works fine but when I call it from a script via a web page I get the above return-path and received from.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey haneo,

I sorted the problem for myself, hopefully it will be the same for you. I had to change the name of the computer in the "sendmail.cf" file and in the "rc.config file". The computer name was set to a default string when I changed it to the actual domain name everything worked fine.

Hope this helps!
