Enumerating Drives/Volumes in Vista

Hi all,

I am running on Vista Home Premium, a program I wrote to enumerate drives/volumes (which works fine on 2k/XP) does not work on Vista - the only drive to appear is the CDROM, all others are not displayed.

Is this a delphi bug or does it have something to do with permissions??? Is anybody else having this problem?

In vista, under file properties, Compatability, there is an option to run as administrator. Enabling this option fixed this.

when programming for vista, realize that you need "elevated" rights for some API's due to UAC :
