Entourage X

I am setting up a POP3 account in Entourage and can't find the equivalent of "Logon using secure authentication" which the ISP tells me is required for PC. Any help please?

Wow, a tough one.
Not runnning Entourage on any X machines.
that having been said, I do recall something about authentication not being supported in Entourage X. can't remember where I saw that.

I have solved the authentication problem - there was a check box under Advanced Options.

I am able now to receive mail but not send. It returns error 23016. I have tried everything - deleting the account and re-entering and have checked server names etc.

Can anybody suggest anything else I can try?

Had a brainstorm immediately after posting my last request for help and have resolved the issue. I am connecting using a free ISP but had not entered their server as smtp server.
