Entourage Users Missing Email

We have users that are running Entourage 2004 that are missing email. Many users are reporting that they open their power books and several weeks to several months of email are missing. The email is also gone in OWA and searching all their messages for the missing email doesn't turn up anything. The email still shows up on their BlackBerrys. Also the sent items from the dates of the missing mail are still present.

Most of our users are Windows/Outlook users and they have not reported any issues.

We are using Exchange 2003 and are stumped on how to troubleshoot this issue. There is nothing in the event logs or any place else we can think to look to find a clue on why the mail goes missing.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look for clues or how to increase the verbosity of the logging in exchange to maybe get something in the event logs.

OMG

I am having the EXACT same problem. Exchange 03, and a single Entourage user will log in and have 3 weeks of inbox vanish. Nothing in the logs at all. Connecting POP3 with "leave a copy" selected....very odd....
