Entourage cannot access your data - URGENT

Hi
We have a G4 laptop with Panther (OS X 10.3) on it and Entourage.
This morning the user could not access it with the following error:
"Entourage cannot access your data. To attempt to fix the problem rebuild your database."
After trying a typical and advanced rebuild it still fails.
Is there any way to recover the data? The guy did not back up his mail at all, and he has great need now!! (Typical, but...)
