I am new to the voice side of the house. I need a comprehensive planning guide for a large enterprise upgrade. We have multiple vendors Mitel, Nortel and Avaya PBXs and VM. The company is also considering VoIP with Cisco. I will be responsible for product comparison pricing etc.

Does anyone know of a planning guide online or for purchase?

You need 'x' number of PRIs for 'x' number of users etc.

erlang has been a golden rule for voice for decades... consider the end user side of the params a little close for a pbx app.. ie, a hotel with one trunk for 50 stations has to many trunks.. an acd group with 1 trunk per 2 agents has to few trunks
