I am publishing a report. At the scheduling option window, there is no option to NOT schedule. I don't want to schedule these reports. I tried run once, but then when I look at the report in eportfolio, you can't just run the report (has view latest, instance, schedule, history) and if I try the let user refresh, I only have schedule and history available.

How can I remove all of this ie I just simply want our users to point to a report and print it? I don't want schedule, I'd never want to review history on the reports.

When publishing these reports, if the report has parameters, it is forcing us to choose the parameters. The parameters are chosen by the user when they print the report and change each time they print it. This doesn't seem to be an option.

Hi,
After publishing you can revise the parameter behavior in the CMC...Click on the parameter's current value, then on the page that opens, click both option boxes, say OK, THEN be sure to click Update on the Parameters page.

Which options appear in ePortfolio depends on the rights you have set for that user..

To make it simpler, you could write some custom csp ( or asp ) pages, or use the URL command line options like:

Code:
[URL unfurl="true"]http://yourceserver/viewrpt.cwr?id=<ReportID[/URL] number after being published>&apsname=Guest&apsauthtype=secEnterprise

[profile]
PS - It may be time to review the docs...

I've reviewed the docs. This option to have user choose value was in the old version of 8. Now, it's a lot of extra work.

We are not able to setup user rights because we are only using Standard. Does this mean that we can't not schedule reports?

If we are to write customer ASP pages, then what's the point of having Crystal Enterprise at all? The viewer, compared to version 8, is much worse. The calendar for picking parameters looks bad. WHen you print, it prints like a webpage instead of a report. In version 8, there was a printer icon in the viewer that just printed the report. NOw we get Crystal report viewer at the top of the page, another page x of x, the webpage address on the bottom. It's no longer a report anymore.

Select a different viewer, sounds like you're using the html, which sux, try the Active-X.

I'm not familiar with the CE Standard feature set, but it should at least support different viewers.

Otherwise I think that Turk is correct about the parms, but I'm not certain.
