Hi,
i'm currently beginning a projet under PeopleSoft Enterprise Portal.
The portal will give access to an institutional site and several private subsites, each subsite accessing to CRM, EPM and HR application pages.

We are currently designing the portal, and we have a lot of technical questions (may be newbie questions, sorry). If anyone have an answer to any questions here, that would be great.

1- In the standard portal, you have a default template with a header, a left menu and a target area in the left where any application screen display. We would like to know if there is any way to modify the default template so we have a menu on the left, a target area in the center, and on the right, a column containing pagelet displaying information data. Is it possible, and if so, could you describe me quickly how to do that?

2 - in the same domain, on a homepage tab, the layout is 2 or 3 column. Do you have any possibility to change the width of a column? (for example having the first column being 300 Pixel and the second being only 150?).

3 - In our project, there is a lot of document (.doc, .xls, etc) which will be used in CRM and EPM application. For example, a command will have a .pdf bill. We wonder if there is any possibility to use the portal content management to manage the whole document, and thus, any possibility during CRM and EPM developpement to reference Portal Managed document?

4 - We would like to offer to the user of private subsite a notification system. The notification system will be used to display some "message" generated by a special events (like "you have received a new bill", or "your command have been accepted").
a notification can be of any origin (CRM system, EPM system, etc..).
We plan to use the default "Worklist" component used in each of the portal pack, and use the "Integrated worklist" of the portal. But we would like to know if 1/ when you click on an entry of the worklist displayed in the portal, can you access directly the item referenced by the entry (for example, if the worklist entry is for a new bill, will you access directly the bill by clicking it on the integrated worklist?). 2/ If you execute an entry on the integrated worklist (if you check it), will the entry be checked on the origin system?(if you check a CRM entry, will the CRM system update automaticly?)

I hope i have explained well enough the problem we have (and in a good language:eek:)).

Thanks a lot for any answer or clue you can give me.

Tonio
