dear all
I have two ecoservers, deployed as a simplex host and enterprise gateway+softgate mode
my question is i can get softgate locking id from assistant--gateway dashboard--basic setting-license infomation, but i don't know where can get the
enterprise gateway locking id.
Can I use the same locking id to apply for the base license of softgate and enterprise gateway?

To get the Advanced Locking ID:
https:// to the IP address of the SoftGate
go then to Configuration/Basic Settings/Licence Information

To add more licences to the Softgate:
You need to use WinSCP SFTP and transfer the licences for the Softgate MAC address to /opt/cla/import
If using Atlantic LAN use Filezilla to 192.0.2.4
you have to SCP to
NCUI of Softgate - soco Shelf
and transfer the "11-22-33-44-55-66_OpenScape_4000_SoftGate_V10.lic" file
You may have to reboot the SoftGate for the licence to operate.
it will generate an error in sta-hista to show success

hello sbcsu
thanks a lot!
I have upload 2 license (enterprise gateway base & softgate base) to /opt/cla/import,and this two file be transfered to /opt/cla/license.(rlfxxxx.xml)
is it correct?

It's only the softgate licence that needs to be uploaded in this way.
It has to be put into /opt/cla/import
When you refresh it should be gone

Can I think that I only need to purchase a softgate license in this way?
the enterprise gateway base license is unnecessary?
