I am experiencing problems with Enterprise Edge system. The web interface no longer opens and the dial up modem no longer answers. I have verified that my PC is in the same network as the box, but am unable to ping it. I have power cycled the box and although the phones are working am still not able to access the configuration. Can anyone help?

If the LEDs on the front are flasing, check your motherboard. You may have the faulty Portway board. Do a search on the fourm, there's lots of previous postings on the issue.

Look at the electrolytic capacitors on the motherboard to see if they are leaking a gray paste or bulging. if they are Nortel no longer warrants the system, but you can get it fixed for about $80 from.

He also has pictures to see what they look like.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.
