Enterprise Data Transfer (FTP)

Hello All,

We have several remote sites with scheduled data transfers that occur throughout the day. Some are VPN connections and others are ftp sites. Most are small, but some are quite large (300 - 500 MB).

Currently we are using a hodge-podge of scripts to rename, zip, transfer, etc. As you can imagine, these solutions can quickly become cumbersome and require a lot of babysitting.

I'm looking for an Enterprise-class app to handle data transfers.

The primary requirements are:

1. Scheduling/Automation within a centralized interface.
2. Robust reporting and notifation (email/pager/etc)
3. Automated Compression/Decompression
4. Automated file Renaming.
5. Robust data transfer with automatic restart, etc.

Any suggestions?

Robocopy is the only app like this I've used but that was several years ago so I'm not sure what the current feature set is, I do see people still recommending it from time to time though.
