Hi
I have had to re write a very complex report twice now and with the same outcome. As soon as i try to upload a report into crystal enterprise it corrupts this file and any backups of the file i have
Crystal support are giving me the run around by not using english speaking staff.
Can anyone help.

Hi,
What is the error that indicates a corruption?

What versions involved?

As a side note: If you gave them as few details as you posted, I suspect that their language skills were not the problem....

Uploading a report should not corrupt the local copy, as it only opies the report from it's current location, so a rewrite would in theory never be required.

I would guess that you hve virii or some such, I've never heard of this issue and it makes no sense unless youre file system is corrupted or there are virii at play.

In either case it wouldn't be Crystal at fault.

I should have made a helpful suggestion, my apologies.

Downlaod Spybot Search and Destroy, it usually installs on machines even when partially locked down by the admins, and does an excellent job of detecting corruption.

Remember that the free version is fine to use, you just have to remember to manually run it once a week or whenever you feel the need.
