Enterprise can't run all v8 reports

I have an interesting problem.

I report I created uses running totals in the group footers to get around a problem I have with totaling a field from several records as if it were one.

Anyway, the report runs fine from the designer, and even fine from the designer installed on the server. But when it comes to running from within Enterprise I get a failure saying "invalid grouping"

Has anyone else had this problem and found a way around it?

what is the build on Crystal Reports and what is the build on Enterprise?

CE v8.0.2.672 and Reports Developer v8.5.0.217
