Enterprise backup software comparison

Hi,

I am looking for a good comparison of enterprise backup sollutions, like a simple matrix which shows the benefits of each product.

Currently the products I am looking for are :

Bakbone Net Vault
Legato Networker
HP Dataprotector

Anyone a good site which compares this kind of software ?

You are probably better off contacting the vendors and asking them for the info.

You can go to each site and download their specs. I find that if you contact the vendor, they will throw any other products under the bus.

Out of everything in your list, I would prefere BakBone NetVault as it is very simple to install and configure. Typically you can have a BakBone NetVault environment up and running in less than 30 minutes.

With Legato Networker, there is a ton of configuration you will need to perform and it is not user friendly and it does not provide daily backup reports. Same goes for Omniback/Data Protector.
