Enterprise 9: Scheduled Reports not running

Hi, all.

I've got a really frustrating problem with my Enterprise server. I have a few jobs that read data from an Oracle database through ODBC. They do not run as scheduled. When I say that they "do not run", I mean that they never enter a "pending" status nor does it appear thay they fail; the run time comes and goes, and the reports do not change their status.

I tried creating a test report that does not take any information from a database, it only displays a time stamp and, "Hello World". When I schedule this report, it, also, doesn't run.

We have checked and rechecked our settings and cannot see any problems.

Any suggestions?

If this is a problem with all the reports look at the Job Server settings, is it "enabled"? You can this at the crystal configuration Manager and click on the enable/disable servers and check the server is enabled.

Are these reports event driven? If so, is the event occurs before the report is scheduled? For ex: If report is scheduled to run at 3:00 am and event occurs at 1:00 am. The report won't run.

More details are needed.

Hi, Srinath. Thanks for the speedy response.

I will have to check on that value and ensure that it hasn't been mucked with. The reports have run, before, but have never run at the right time and have never all run successfully. Last night, however, was the first time everything failed.

None of them are event-driven; they are only bound to the schedule.
