Hi,

We were sold on CE 10 based on the improved export functionality to Excel. CR 10 seems to have a lot more functionality that CE 10 for exporting to excel. E.g. you can turn off page headers, specifiy which section stiplifies the width of cells.

I'm playing with CE 10 in a test environment using the the off the CD installation and the active X and DHTML viewers. Please someone tell me I'm missing some function or that one of the hot fixes sorts this.

Thanks

Paulos

Ok so I've done a little more digging in the CMC and it seems that if specify export directly to Excel you can use the advanced functionality of the Excel export. Is there anyway that the viewers can have this functionality as well?

We tend to generate a report in Crystal reports format and allow our users to specify the format they want to export too. I don't really want to have to set the report to goto Excel as standard.

Thanks

Paulos

They have this functionality in 9 (i am assuming 10 is still the same) when they schedule reports.
