I am unable to enter QPro dates using QPro 8 from the Office Suite with WIN98SE and an AMD K6-2 processor. If I use a standard QPro date format, the date entered in the cell is always "Dec 30, 1899" and the actual date I entered appears in the input line. If I use an "@" function to enter a date, I get the date serial number in the cell and the "@" function in the input line.
None of the remedies in the on line help or in the QPro KB solve the problem including reloading QPro. Basically, the date serial number NEVER appears in the input line and I ALWAYS get "Dec 30, 1899" in the cell.
Questions:
1. How can I fix this?
2. Where can I obtain a separate QPro 8 app, apart from the Corel Suite?
3. Other than Excel and QPro, what are some other spreadsheets I could use?
4. Do you think upgrading to version 10 (the latest) would solve the problem?
Thanks
Charles
