I noticed when I loaded Filemaker Pro, it ask me for my user name. The name popped in automatically, I press OK and I haven't seen the same dialog since.
I have a runtime application that I'm completing and when I install this on another computer, the first time it ask for the user name. After tweeking and doing an uninstall of the runtime, when I re-install, it has not ask for a user name again. However when I close the application, it stop half way through the shut down with an error message. Clicking on the details of the message and it shows a fault in the user.exe. I don't have a user.exe as part of my file and thought could it be the user dialog not being prompted and filled in?
Any ideas? Can the user name be scripted in the startup to prevent this problem?
This seems to be an issue I need to address as I notice when I go back into the program and exit I get the error message everytime.
Thanks
Marty
