I have a worksheet with a group of hidden rows and the are locked. If the user hits the down arrow it skips past these ok but if they hit the enter key the curser moves to these hidden rows.

Is there a way to make the enter key act like the down arrow?

Hi,

Use Sheet Protection and unlock ranges that CAN be viewed, and specify that locked cells cannot be selected.

In Excel 2007, that would go like this:

- Select all cells to be unlocked
- Right Click > Format Cells > Protection
- Uncheck the box beside Locked
- OK
- On the Home Ribbon go to Cells > Format > Protect Sheet
- Uncheck the box besude Select locked cells

"Protect Sheet" is under Cells > Format??? Forget what I said in that other thread about kinda liking 2007.
