I want to creat a graph from those numbers using a command button
thanks in advance

Why not create a chart report in Access, instead of automating the data over to Excel???

I think exel graphs are more versitable
and plus I do not know what you told me
it would be great if you could send me a sample

i used to think the same thing cause i'd used Excel for so many years. but for a good two years now I've been creating all kinds of charts, many very complex. Granted, Microsoft hasn't spent as much time on the Graph utility as it has on Excel, but it's definately do-able, easier, cooler than having Excel open up for the user......I haven't touched excel in years.....

you can start out using the wizard
create a report, and choose to create a CHART
it will ask you questions on how you want to format it.
most of the time i just pick whatever.....just to get it made, then i tweek it myself.

after that, the best thing to do is to view the query/table that you are basing the chart on, copy the entire query results or table data, and paste that into the design of the chart (double-click on the chart itself). then you can see how the columns/bars/lines will look and you can format them easily. once you are in the graph tool - the design of the chart object itself--it is very similar to excel.

when in design view of the report, right-click on the chart object and choose properties. You will probably want to make SIZE MODE = Stretch instead of CLIP. then you can re-size the chart and page size appropriately.
