Ent Mngr to OPS Manager sync fails

Hi, I can't seem to get my Ent Mngr (network elements) to sync to OPS Manager.

I have done this before with no problems however this site is giving me problems. The error is OPS Manager failure. OPS manager launches fine though.

any ideas?

I have set my ftp username and password and also done the editting in the elements' controller registry.

Just curious, I had a similar problem but it turned out that OPSman was loaded on the E drive instead of C. I take it yours was on C though?

Yes it is. I know for a fact the OPS won't run on anything else other than C:

Don't know why it needed a reboot. must have been something internal go wrong or something. go figure!

Since upgrading to EM 3.014 + OM 7.4 I have been rebooting the server at least weekly to free up hung OM apps. For anyone still on OPS 6.x I'd hold up as long as I could before moving to EM.

same here, have to reboot regurarly...."Mitel It's about being like Microsoft...reboot weekly" ;-)

Coming from a product (OPS 6.x) where a reboot only happened when we needed to put one of the Microsoft critical patches on to this new kid where reboots are being periodically required, it's seen by our mgmt as a step backward.

I'm about to move to OPSMan 7.4
Is there way to manage ICP V7.0 with OPS Man 6.1? I've upgraded one of ICP's to V7.0 and found that 6.1 can do backups but cannot manage users. Any ideas?

I had the same issue with OPSMAN 6.11

6.11 is md'ed as of Dec 2005 and does not support Rel7.0 according to Mitel TAC

Upgrading to OPS 7.4 will require Enterprise Mgr. No way around it.
