i would like to know how i can connect mac and pc on the same network

First, there is no trouble connecting Macs and PCs to the same network for internet access, both use TCP/IP for that.

Macs traditionally used Appletalk for file sharing, but now use TCP/IP and SAMBA.

PCs traditionally and currently use SMB for filesharing.

If you have just one Mac and lots of PCs, DAVE by Thursby may help.

If you have lots of Macs, learning SAMBA so they can do SMB will be worthwhile.

I tried to remain child-like, all I acheived was childish.
