hi,all
If our original database size is 100MB and now it grows to
almost 1 GB. if I create another database with 3GB and different name, restore this database(smaller size allocated before) to the newly created one(much larger size allocated), is there any problem?
thanks
Betty

I don't think there would be any problem. But why bother creating the database larger than it needs to be now? Set the database property to allow Auto Growth and set a reasonable growth increment in mb. Don't use the % option on such a large db.

go for the autogrowth much better option ... and more safe,.
