enlarge image problem!!

Can anybody tell me as how to pass image object from one page to another ..

Actually,I have image displayed on an asp page using <img> tag with size 100*100 while actual image size 800*1000

after clicking on that image i want to proportionately increase image that size without out loss of resolution.

So I can write a js function for that..I wnated to display this images only with the chaged ht and width on an other page,,,Do i need to download once again..Then How can achieve my task..can anybody help with a snippet..

as how to get original size of that images to calculate new proportionate and display that image

I do believe that downloading twice is your solution. but I would use a thumbnail that really is 100*100 pixels so the user doesn't have to download a huge img when all he wants is to know wether or not the image interests him.

JavaScript can help you do lots of things but sometimes the best solutions are simplicity.
