EnGenius Cordless phone

We had an EnGenius SN-920 Ultra cordless phone connected to our Panasonic DBS system. We wanted to replace the unit with a En Genius Dura Fon 1X cordless phone. The unit rings when calling from another station but does not ring on incoming calls. The ring setting is on High but when we change it to Ring + Vibrate it vibrates for a split second. What changes need to be done.

if that ext is assigned to ring i'dd throw a meter
acrossed that ext and make sure the ring voltage is 90-105
volts ac

Thanks for the response cwc3. But I found that it requires a specific ring pattern on the port for that specific cordless unit. I found it and fixed it.
