Hello,
I have a new 8600 that was delivered with ver 3.5.1.0 code. What is the engboot file? This file has no extension and is 11 bytes in size with the same date as my boot.cfg file.

Hello Gillymonst,

The named file is a file which is created after a reboot of the coreswitch. Everytime the cs is rebooted this file will be created (updated). It has no additional information, only the last boot time of the switch.
