We have a Norstar Voicemail on a NAM, running with our MICS. Is there any way to require that people put in secure passwords on their mailboxes? Basically i want to prevent 1234 and 3333, etc. I'd like to require 6 digits too.

Is this possible?

Thanks curlycord! Guess i'll just have to browbeat or shame them into compliance with the policy! ;)

I find shaming works pretty good. A few posts of some dirt on the lunchroom board usually fixes a lot. Ha ha ha ha ha ha....

You could also edit the class-of-service to expire the passwords every 90 days or so.

Post a memo saying any toll fraud traced to them not following policy will be deducted from their pay.

Here here RikRodgers, the first ten thousand seems to make them comply?

just a side note, when in doubt RTFM. (read the frigging manual)
