Can anyone help..? One of my cards on my 81c is displaying a red LED QPC414C E-NET card, how can I check the status of it and dis/enl it.. It lives in CE Netgroup 1 self 0 slot 6.
Any advise would be welecome..

LD 32 stat 34, stat 35. You may have one of these loops that are not being used. No big deal, you will have a red light.

stat 32 0 stat 32 1, the reason that one light may be red is you may not have a loop 32...and since my switch is at work an i'm not, it'a either loops 32 or loop 36.. a card in that slot if used for a t1 would be loop 34 and 35 and you would stat it in 60...a 414 if my memory serves me right, is a network card, that means that it can't be loop 34..loops must be a number divisable by 4 ie 4 8 12 16 32 36 40 etc

32/33 would be the conference/TDS pack. The next loop 34/35 slot six would be in this case the ENET card. Not a superloop, that is why it can be 34. Superloops are four loops. Hints the 4,8,12,16.... But ENET card can be in any dual-loop.

and a qpc 414 is a enet card, not a conf tds

Also make sure that the cable is secure to the card. That card accepts 2 cables for 2 loops.

top connector is the 1 loop bottom is the 0 loop.. you would have noticed a loop down, usually before you noticed the red light

John,
I know what a QPC414 card is!!! Read the question, the QPC card is in slot 6 in network 1 shelf 0. That is loop 34/35. I would guess that loop 32/33 is a Conf/TDS card. Anyway slot 6 in that network group is and will always be loop 34/35.

Cheers,
TWM

i don't doubt that you know your cards, sorry if i misstated my response, i tried to point out that 34/35 is not a loop
