Endless Retry Attempts for Failed Reports

Anybody experiencing a problem where reports published using the retry / interval option just keep failing & rescheduling themselves? This just started yesterday, so it is a new problem for old reports that have been running fine. I published the reports with a retry limit of 20 retries, to retry every 30 minutes (1800 seconds). Many just seem to keep failing and re-creating recurring instances to retry again over & over every 30 minutes, but a few succeed. I am able to manually run the same report on the same server using Crystal Reports instead of Crystal Enterprise, so it seems to be more of a CE problem than an ODBC connection issue, server issue, etc. Timing coincides with all the patches & things installed for last week's virus threat.

Hi,
Just a thought:
Did you disinfect ( with the latest version of your Anti-Virus) before patching?
What about after?

Thanks for the thought. I actually have a server support group that is responsible for the server and installs patches, keeps the server virus definitions up-to-date, etc., so I have to trust that this was all done properly. Of course, there are new virus threats again today.

I wonder if the Microsoft patches to correct the vulnerabilities (which I read were in RPC) have changed something that CE needs, since when you look under Services, RPC is listed as a dependency for CE.
